Srinagar Airport
Arrive at Srinagar Airport, where you'll be greeted and then driven to explore Srinagar, the summer capital of Jammu and Kashmir. The Srinagar valley is renowned for its fresh waters: Dal Lake, Nigeen Lake, and the Jhelum River, which flows through the city. You can visit the old market of Srinagar, known as Downtown, which is steeped in history, and the famous Jamia Masjid, located in the area. When the Mughal emperors came to this region, they created beautiful gardens known as the Mughal Gardens: Nishat Bagh, Shalimar Bagh, and Pari Mahal. Additionally, Asia’s largest tulip garden is located in Srinagar city. After exploring the city, you will check into your pre-booked hotel for an overnight stay. Dinner will be included.
Gulmarg Excusion
After breakfast, drive to explore Asia's highest cable car, located in Gulmarg, Kashmir. It is situated 55 km from the summer capital of Jammu and Kashmir and is accessible only by road. On the way to Gulmarg, you will pass through Tangmarg, which is the last village inhabited by people, located 14 km before Gulmarg. Gulmarg is one of the most popular destinations in Kashmir and is renowned for its winter sports activities. Srinagar Kargil Road Trip
After breakfast today, you will check out of the hotel in Srinagar and drive along NH1, the Srinagar-Ladakh Highway, on your way to Kargil. You will have the opportunity to explore the beautiful Sind River, where we suggest stopping at riverside cafés for some tea and snacks before proceeding to Sonmarg, one of the most famous destinations in Kashmir, located approximately 85 km from the summer capital, Srinagar. Next, you will drive over the Zojila Pass, known as one of the most dangerous roads in the world. Thanks to our skilled driver, you can relax and enjoy the stunning views while capturing the picturesque scenery of Baltal and Sonmarg with your mobile phone. After crossing Zojila, you'll enter the Drass district, where you'll visit the Kargil War Memorial. Following your visit, you'll head towards Kargil and check into your pre-booked hotel in Kargil for dinner and an overnight stay.
Back to Sonmarg via Zojila Pass
After having breakfast in the Kargil hotel, check out and take some pictures at the Suru River, which flows through Kargil city. Then, drive back to Sonmarg via the Zojila Pass. Once you arrive in Sonmarg, check in pre pre-booked Sonmarg Hotel, the if you're feeling adventurous, you can hire a pony to explore the beautiful Thajwas Glacier. Spend a few hours enjoying the stunning views before heading back to the hotel for dinner and an overnight stay.
Sonmarg- Gurez
After breakfast at the Sonmarg hotel, check out and drive to Gurez, one of the most beautiful offbeat destinations in Kashmir. Kashmir is renowned as one of the best travel spots in the world, with every corner showcasing its unique beauty and charm. Gurez Valley has been open to tourists since 2019, and many people have discovered this hidden gem through social media platforms like Instagram, Facebook, and YouTube. While most visitors are familiar with major attractions such as Gulmarg, Pahalgam, Srinagar, and Sonmarg, the beauty of Gurez begins in the famous district of Bandipora. On your way to Gurez, you will have the chance to explore Wullar Lake, Asia's largest freshwater lake. You'll also pass through the stunning Razdan Pass, which connects Gurez with the rest of the valley. During your drive to Gurez, you will stop in Dawar, the main town in Gurez Valley. Gurez – Angaikhot/ Chackwali
After breakfast in Gurez today, you will explore the ancient Silk Route of Kashmir, which once connected to the Asian Silk Route. Although this trade practice has ceased, you will visit Purana Tulala, where the local people, known as the Dardas, reside. They have come from many countries and have settled in the Gurez Valley, maintaining a unique lifestyle and beautiful log homes that set them apart from the rest of the valley. This tradition dates back many years in the Kashmir Valley. Your journey will then take you to Angaikhot and Chack Wali, which are the last stops in the valley. Afterwards, you'll return to Dawar, where we will show you the famous Haba Khatoop Peak and the Kishan Ganga River (also known as the Neelum River). You'll spend the night in Dawar at the same hotel.
Gurez- Srinagar Airport
After breakfast, drive back to Srinagar via the Razdan Pass. Today, you will travel through Bandipora district and visit Bandipora village. Upon reaching Srinagar, we will take you directly to Srinagar Airport for your flight home, along with cherished memories of nature.
